09 Days Ride Itinerary (Ex. Manali)

Day 01: Arrival at Manali

Welcome to the mountains, Rider!
After winding your way up from Delhi, Chandigarh, or Kullu, the cool breeze of Manali greets you like an old friend. The first glimpse of snow-dusted peaks and the rhythmic hum of bikes in the valley set the tone for the adventure that’s about to unfold.
Check-in at your cozy hotel (from 12 PM onwards) and take a moment to breathe in that crisp Himalayan air. Stroll around the town, maybe sip some local chai by the Beas River, or simply let the mountain calm sink in.
As dusk paints the sky orange, gather with your fellow adventurers for the orientation session — your first step into the epic ride ahead. Here, our tour leader walks you through everything that matters: the route, safety guidelines, riding manners, and a few pro tips only the mountains can teach.
Your motorcycles await — gleaming and ready. Take them for a spin, get comfortable, and flag any tweaks needed to our crew.
The evening ends with a hearty dinner shared with your tribe — stories, laughter, and that unmistakable buzz before a great ride. Tonight, rest well. Tomorrow, the road calls.

As the morning sun glows over the Himalayan peaks, it’s time to fire up the engines and hit the road for another epic day! After breakfast, gear up for an unforgettable ride that takes you from the charm of Manali through the scenic Kullu Valley, following the sparkling Beas River.
Soon, you’ll cross the narrow Bhuntar bridge — and that’s where the real adventure begins. The highway fades into winding mountain roads, pine-covered hills, and the untouched beauty of Himachal’s inner valleys.
Ride through a mysterious tunnel and burst into daylight at the Beas–Sainj confluence — a picture-perfect spot where the thrill truly kicks in.
Every turn feels alive — crisp mountain air fills your lungs, tall pines sway beside you, and the sound of rushing streams follows your trail. The blend of serenity and excitement makes this journey one to remember.
By afternoon, you’ll roll into Jibhi, a hidden gem tucked deep in the Tirthan Valley. Take a short walk to the enchanting Jibhi Waterfall — a tranquil corner where time seems to slow down. As the evening settles, relax by the riverside, let the silence of nature sink in, and relive the day’s incredible ride under the starlit sky.

Day 03: Jibhi – Jalori Pass – Sangla (Approx. 200 KM / 7–8 Hrs)

“From misty mountains to heart-thumping cliffs – this day defines true Himalayan adventure.”
The morning mist still hugs the pine trees as we take a calm stroll down to the river. The water gurgles softly — a reminder that today’s serenity is just the calm before the storm of adventure. After a hearty breakfast, helmets go on, engines roar to life, and the ride begins.
The first challenge — Jalori Pass. The road winds upward like a serpent, narrow and steep, demanding both skill and spirit. Every turn reveals a new drama of the mountains — silver streams glistening in sunlight, clouds brushing against ridges, and prayer flags fluttering like whispers of courage.
As we roll down from Jalori, the terrain shifts dramatically. We pass through rustic villages, apple orchards heavy with fruit, and old Himachali homes crafted from wood and stone. Waterfalls spill across the cliffs — perfect pit stops for a breather and a photograph. Soon, the mighty Sutlej River greets us, marking the start of smoother stretches toward Rampur. But beyond Rampur lies the heart of the adventure — the iconic Kinnaur Valley. The road now clings to the mountains, daring you to look down into the vast abyss below. At the Kinnaur Rock Gate, we pause for a group photo — a memory carved in both rock and heart.
By the time we reach Karcham Dam, the wide highway fades into a single, cliff-hugging lane — one of the most thrilling stretches in all of India. As the sun begins to set, the valley below turns golden, painting a scene you’ll never forget. This is the legendary “Cliffhanger Road”, where every meter feels like victory. Our destination — the peaceful Sangla Valley, hidden amidst apple orchards and snow-dusted peaks. The day’s adrenaline gives way to calm as we share stories over dinner under a starlit sky.

Accommodation: Deluxe Camp

Day 04: Sangla –Chitkul – Kalpa (Approx. 90 KM / 4–5 Hrs Ride)

Wake up to the crisp mountain breeze and the soft scent of apple blossoms drifting through Sangla Valley. After a soul-satisfying breakfast, it’s time to rev up your engines for one of the most unforgettable rides of this journey — the road to Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-Tibetan border.
The route hugs the turquoise Baspa River, winding through pine-covered slopes and rustic hamlets like Raksham, where prayer flags sway lazily in the wind. As the tarmac narrows and turns rugged, every bend feels like a scene from an adventure film — steep cliffs on one side, roaring river on the other, and you in the middle of it all, chasing horizons.
And then, Chitkul appears — serene, timeless, and impossibly beautiful. Wooden homes stand against a backdrop of snow-dusted peaks, and the chill in the air feels strangely comforting. Sit by the riverbank, sip a cup of hot coffee, and let silence tell its story.
By evening, we’ll head toward Kalpa, where the mighty Kinner Kailash range glows golden in the fading sun — the perfect finale to an epic day on the road.

Accommodation: Deluxe Hotel
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 05: Kalpa – Tabo – Kaza (Approx. 220 KM / 6–7 Hrs)

“From apple orchards to ancient monasteries — today, we ride into the soul of Spiti.”
The day begins with the golden rays kissing the mighty Kinner Kailash Range, its snow peaks gleaming like a crown above Kalpa. Sip your morning tea while soaking in the silence — soon, that peace will turn into pure thrill.
Kalpa. Sip your morning tea while soaking in the silence — soon, that peace will turn into pure thrill.
After breakfast, the engines roar to life and we set off on one of the most spectacular stretches of the journey. The road snakes through mountain ridges and deep valleys, offering heart-pounding turns and views that demand a photo stop every few minutes. As we roll past Pooh, the green forests fade away, and the Himalayas start revealing their dramatic, rugged face.
At Khab, where the Sutlej meets the Spiti River, pause for a moment — this is where two worlds collide. From here, the terrain transforms into raw beauty — sharp ridges, ancient rock faces, and endless stretches of desert mountains that seem painted by time itself.
The climb to Nako Village is steep yet soul-stirring. Feel the thin air fill your lungs and the excitement in your heart as you reach the high mountain lake shimmering like a mirror in the sun. After a short break, the adventure intensifies — a dirt trail hugs the cliffs, and the wind whistles through your helmet as the Spiti River glides far below. By afternoon, you’ll ride past Tabo, home to a 1,000-year-old monastery that feels frozen in time. The prayer flags flutter in the cold breeze, carrying whispers of ancient chants across the valley.
As you finally roll into Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley, a sense of calm replaces the day’s adrenaline. Park the bikes, breathe in the crisp air, and let the star-filled night sky remind you how small yet infinite this moment truly is.
End your evening with a walk through Old Kaza’s cozy lanes — try a glass of local sea buckthorn juice or warm up with a plate of Tingmo and thukpa at a friendly café. It’s a perfect Himalayan night — wild, quiet, and deeply fulfilling.

Accommodation: Deluxe Hotel / Traditional Mud House
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 06: Kaza – Hikkim – Komic – Langza – Kaza (Approx. 90 KM / 4–5 Hrs Ride)

Get ready early, because today’s ride is nothing short of legendary! We’re heading into the heart of Spiti’s high-altitude magic — a day where every turn tells a story.
Our first stop is Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office. Here, the air feels thinner but the thrill runs deeper. Drop a postcard to yourself or someone special — when it finally arrives, it’ll carry not just words, but the spirit of Spiti.
Next, we climb even higher to Komic, one of the highest inhabited villages on the planet. Standing at over 15,000 ft, surrounded by snow-draped mountains and ancient sea fossils, it feels like you’ve stepped into another era — where earth and sky meet in silence.
Then comes Langza, watched over by a towering Buddha statue that smiles gently over the valley. Pause for a cup of hot ginger-lemon tea at a cozy café, paired with apricots and almonds — a perfect blend of warmth and calm at this altitude.
Before we ride back, we’ll visit the iconic Key Monastery, a masterpiece clinging to the cliffside. The chants of monks echo through the halls, and as prayer flags flutter in the cold breeze, you’ll feel something shift deep within — peace, awe, and connection.
By evening, we return to Kaza, hearts full and minds quiet. Under the blanket of stars, it hits you — this isn’t just a trip, it’s an awakening.

Accommodation: Deluxe Hotel
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 07: Kaza – Chicham Bridge – Kunzum La – Chandratal (150 KM / 5-6 Hrs)

The day your soul meets the sky.
The engines roar to life as dawn paints Kaza golden. Today isn’t just another ride—it’s a journey into the heart of Spiti’s wild beauty. We begin our ascent toward Chicham Bridge, a marvel that seems to float between two cliffs at nearly 4,150 meters. When you look down, it’s not just a drop—it’s a freefall into awe! Toss a pebble, and you’ll watch gravity take its time.
From there, the trail winds through the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, where the air feels wilder and freer. Marmots whistle in the distance, and if luck favors, you might spot a blue sheep perched on a crag. The road dances between dusty tracks and winding bends—testing skill, patience, and spirit alike. As we roll into Losar, the last Spitian village, the landscape shifts dramatically. The road briefly smoothens, offering a moment to breathe before plunging once again into rugged glory. Soon, we’re tracing the iconic Kunzum Pass route—the same terrain that has challenged countless off-road champions. At Kunzum La (4551m), pause. Let the prayer flags flutter your fatigue away. Bow to Kunzum Mata, guardian of travelers, before you descend into an off-roader’s dreamscape—the trail to Chandratal.
This final leg is narrow, thrilling, and raw—mountain on one side, valley abyss on the other. When the track finally ends, the journey continues on foot. A short trek leads you to the Moon Lake, a turquoise gem reflecting the drama of the sky above. As sunlight ripples across its surface, time seems to stand still.
By sunset, you’ll settle at the Chandratal campsite, sharing stories over hot supper under a billion stars. The night may be icy, but tonight’s memories will keep you warm.

Accommodation: Basic Camp
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 08: Chandratal – Atal Tunnel – Manali (Approx. 120 KM / 6–7 Hrs)

“From the lake of the moon to the valley of memories…”
As dawn breaks over Chandratal, the shimmering rays paint the lake in hues of gold — a sight that makes every freezing night and every challenge worthwhile. After a warm breakfast, it’s time to fire up the engines one last time. Today’s ride is not just a journey back to Manali, but a ride through everything this adventure has taught us — endurance, thrill, and gratitude.
We take the narrow trail winding down from the lake, the wind sharp and pure as it brushes against your face. Soon, the familiar signboard of Chacha-Chachi Dhaba greets us — a legendary stop that’s more than just a roadside eatery; it’s a lifeline for travelers who brave these wild mountains. The warmth of a simple meal here feels like comfort itself, a reminder of human kindness amidst the rugged wilderness.
Then comes the part every rider dreams of — raw, rocky off-roads, streams to cross, gravel crunching under the tires, and heart-pounding turns around every bend. The thrill peaks as we roll down towards Chhatru, soaking in the raw beauty of the Himalayas one last time.
As the terrain smooths out, we glide through the iconic Atal Tunnel, its long, echoing stretch marking the symbolic gateway back to civilization. By evening, we reach Manali, where a special farewell dinner awaits — laughter, stories, and that quiet pride of having conquered the high passes together.
Tonight is about celebrating what we achieved — the miles we covered, the friendships we built, and the moments that will live forever in our memories. This may be the last night of the journey, but the adventure never really ends — it just becomes a part of who you are.

Day 09: Manali – The Journey Beyond Begins

As the morning mist slowly lifts from the pine-clad hills of Manali, it’s time to bid farewell to this mountain paradise. The echoes of roaring engines, laughter around bonfires, and the endless mountain curves we conquered together linger in the air — reminders of an adventure that has etched itself deep within our souls.
With hearts full and saddlebags packed, we take one last look at the valley that became our home for these unforgettable days. The thrill of crossing mighty passes, the calm of monasteries, and the breathtaking beauty of Spiti’s rugged charm now turn into stories we’ll cherish forever.
Your return journey begins from here — whether aboard an overnight Volvo gliding through moonlit roads to Delhi or a private cab cruising towards Chandigarh, each mile will carry memories of the ride of a lifetime.
But remember — this isn’t goodbye, it’s just a pause. The Himalayas always whisper your name, inviting you to return for yet another epic ride.
